  3. A big welcome from the team at  Digital Disk. I'll first introduce you to
  4. each of the team members who  all  work  co-operately (ahem) to bring you
  5. Digital Disk.

  9. Incredibly hard working guy,  a  wonderful  journalist, and an incredibly
  10. fun person to be with. But then I  would say that about myself wouldn't I
  11. ?! I'm also the person who's been trying to organise everyone!

  15. The definition of 'Mad' would be appropiate here.  After all he is behind
  16. the interactive adventure game -  Zooey  Goes  to Planet Cringo !!!, what
  17. more proof do you need ?!

  19. All letters for Dmail should  be  addressed  to  Ben,  as should all your
  20. interactive adventure votes (more about that in that section).

  24. Expect some rivalry between us lot. I  mean the Amiga is the best machine
  25. isn't it! (ok Steve add a comment  here  if you must! (PAH! -Steve/68k)).
  26. The brothers are completely in charge of  Digital  Disk  ST,  i.e  I'm
  27. not interfering at all!!!

  29. The Computer Debate is run by  Steve  and  Paul, so for all your comments

  34. Karen is a fun loving enthusiastic person who is the kind  of person you
  35. need on a major project of this kind, we need enthusiasm from someone!

  37. Karen will be contributing articles  on  a  regular  basis (I hope!), and
  38. hopefully soon she will be looking after a new section of her own.

  49. An issue of Digital Disk will be released fortnightly on a Monday for the
  50. Amiga, ST, and PC.  We  plan  to  bring  out  Digital  Disk for the Acorn
  51. Archimedes, and the Atari Falcon, in the very near future!

  53. To receive Digital  Disk  regularly  you  can  subscribe  for  either two
  54. months, or for six  months.  Details  of  which  are in the Subscriptions
  55. section (funnily enough).

  57. As far as we are aware we are the only disk magazine to both:
  58.  
  59. a) Cover all the popular home computer formats,
  60.  
  61. and b) Release a new issue every two weeks.
  62.  
  63. Don't expect you're normal run-of-the-mill  disk  magazine which comes on
  64. four or more disks every two or three months. This is a fully interactive
  65. magazine where you can  discuss  computing  or  just  have  a laugh, with
  66. different computer users, on a regular basis.

  68. We realise this is very experimental, but isn't it time for something new
  69. in the magazine world these days ?

  77. After seeing Steve's editorial for Digital  Disk  ST readers I thought it
  78. was only right that I should  introduce  all you Amiga readers to Digital
  79. Disk Amiga.
  80.  
  81. I hope you enjoy reading  through  this  magazine  but just wait till the
  82. next issue! This issue is more of a sample than anything else.
  83.  
  84. Here's just a quick look at what is planned for next issue...
  85.  
  86.  Digital Music will be  revamped  to  incorporate  more music modules and
  87. much more, as will Digital  Art,  which  will feature pictures of readers
  88. , er I mean readers pictures, and our own pictures to accompany the text.
  89.  
  90.  All new menu system!, with graphic logos for each section, this has been
  91. started as I speak and  as  we  have  three  weeks  before next issue (as
  92. opposed to two weeks between each  issue thereafter) we'll have plenty of
  93. time to make it as good as it could be.
  94.  
  95. I have a new regular section up  my sleeves, er technically speaking that
  96. is, just waiting to be let loose  next  issue.  It could well prove to be
  97. the most popular one yet too...
  98.  
  99. The no holds barred issue 2 of  Digital  Disk  will be out on August 9th,
  100. remember that this issue will only be available directly from us!
